Ljubljana city tour

It is a great introduction into the city’s history and present as well as the country itself. The tour is also a good way to get to know the greatest city’s architect Joe Plenik – his works can also be seen in Vienna and Prague. The tour also includes other major city‘s sights: Triple bridge, the University bulding, medieval town, National and University building, central market etc.

Traditional Slovenian cooking class

We will learn how to prepare authentic and traditional Slovenian dishes according to recipes of Slovenian grandmothers. You don’t need any previous culinary experience to enjoy the delicacies we prepare. Each dish will be served fresh, immediately after preparation. Four course menus are seasonal and are always cooked with fresh ingredients from local farms or from the market next door.

Local countryside honey producer

This tour takes us to many times awarded local countryside beekeeper who will help us understand lives of bees and demonstrate how honey has been produced for centuries. He will also explain why bees are so important for us, why beekeepers live longer than other people and much more. We will also have a chance to taste several different delectable types of typical Slovenian honey, products which are good for your immune system, fertility and well-being.

Guest reviews

I was very fascinated by visiting the local beekeeper. I did not know that Slovenians were so developed in beekeeping and emotionally attached to these small creatures. I learnt so much about bees and how important they are for all of us. Such a nice experience. Lake Bled was also very nice, the scenery was stunning. Thank you Eva for taking us to such lovely places.
